Our quality criteria
Pointing the way to a healthy workplace
The label can be awarded to enterprises which meet six key workplace health management (WHM) criteria. These six WHM criteria point the way to a healthy workplace and provide guidance for the development of a modern WHM system. They enable enterprises to determine how far they have progressed on the road towards this goal.
Enterprises which comply with the standards specified by the WHM criteria are entitled to use the label.
The Swiss WHM criteria were elaborated on the basis of the six Quality Criteria for Workplace Health Promotion (1999) developed by the European Network for Workplace Health Promotion (ENWHP). In some cases, the European quality criteria were adapted or expanded for application in Switzerland, but none of the content was trimmed or omitted altogether.
The quality criteria are supported by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH).
